StaceyAnn Chin is my newest role model. I discovered her on accident on YouTube. She is a poet and activist from Jamaica who moved to New York to have a better life, only to find out America isn't the land of hopes and dreams.
I was hooked after one poem. I watched almost all of the play lists, including a few interviews. What caught my attention was her honesty. Like Courtney and Hillary, she is a fearless woman who has taken on the world. Try to challenge her and she will just call you a MotherF&$%er and move on with her life. What I admire most is that she is a full time activist and poet. This is my dream career, but I'm way too lazy to fulfill my dreams.
